- Chapel Hill is a nice place to visit, and a great place to live. It has a small town feel, while having all the conveniences of being located between Raleigh and Durham. Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU) is a short drive (depending on time of day), I-40 & I-85 and Amtrak all are easily accessible -- yet when you are downtown you feel as if you have the feel of small town America.

- I traveled to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to celebrate the birthday of the King (Elvis) with a bunch of greasy-haired and tattooed friends from up and down the East Coast of the United States. This annual event is known as Elvisfest.

- Chapel Hill is home to the nation's oldest public university, established in 1789. It's a liberal and versatile town, a hub of student activity that also appeals to those outside academia with festivals, music, and great food.

- A small town that offers plenty of diversity. This town is liberal and likes to keep its beauty in order. It is not only filled with college students, but also many transplants from other states as well as international. It is an escape from typical suburban American towns.
