- Our reason for visiting was to visit the Blackfriar’s Playhouse, what we found was so much more than we expected.

- For me, Staunton is "home," even though I don't live there anymore. I was born and raised there, and visiting always gives me a sense of comfort - kind of like eating mac n cheese. To the untrained eye, it just seems like another small town, lining Interstate -81 at the I-64 junction. Don't be fooled, it holds a lot of southern charm and a surprising amount of tourist activities.

- In the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Staunton, a city right off of I-81, has enough activities to fill a day. Whether you are interested in history or antiques, this town is worth a stop. Park your car and take the free trolley around the town.

- We visit Staunton quite frequently. Love the small town atmosphere; plenty of good restaurants. Never tire of returning.

- Staunton, Woodrow Wilson's birthplace, is a little town with old Victorian houses. We once spent nearly an hour driving around and looking at the beautiful houses.
