- A gamble on snow paid off this time in a big way when we were offered cheap flights to Denver and found a condo available in Dillon for Thanksgiving week. Summit County was a winter wonderland with snow at typical January levels at Breckenridge.

- This is a beautiful area! We went skiing for 4 days at Copper Mountain. We also visited various ski resorts in the area and caves in Glenwood Springs and drove to Aspen. Breckenridge is a beautiful town for shopping, dining, or just strolling through. I would like to do that again in the summer.

- My in-laws' primary RCI timeshare is in Dillon, CO. They were spending a week at their timeshare, so we drove up for the weekend. Plenty of golf, nearby shops and activities. We had a blast kayaking around a secluded cove of Dillon Lake. Beautiful town, and lots to do.

- We stayed in a three-bedroom unit located on the second floor. It was very roomy, and there was an outdoor hot tub, a large TV in the living room, a smaller TV in the master bedroom, and a gas fireplace. It's located close to the interstate, so there's some street noise at night. We would stay there again because the location is central for skiing.

- The mountains were breathtaking! The highlight was horseback riding on a 12,000-acre ranch! We rode to a vista and saw an eagle soaring. We also rode a train, went to the Continental Divide, rode on the alpine slide in Breckenridge, and toured a gold mine. We all want to go back, maybe in the winter. Still, there's lots to do in summer.

- great times spent in Colorado, Never went before, but would I go back?? In a heart beat. Beautiful country, and the people where all very friendly!!!
