Spain is my new favorite country. Staying in Malaga allows you to take in all that Spain has to offer--history and architecture of the Moors; incredible sangria and tapas at sidewalk cafes; conversation with the happiest people on the planet. A week is the beginning of life-long explorations.

spanish dissapointment

We are regular visitors to Costa del Sol and regular timeshare users. We booked an apartment that was two beds and two baths for six people. The apartment was old and the living/eating space was very small. Dining area only for four. Kitchen small, old, inferior quality, bathroom without ventilation and smelly. Resort close to coastal highway so there is noise 24 hours a day.

Stayed at Los Amigos Beach Club near Malaga with perfect weather. We ventured quite a bit through the country. Definitely rent a car! Lots of villages with narrow street and white houses nearby. The roads are good, and the driving is not too bad.

I almost hate to let the secret out, but the southern coast of Spain is WONDERFUL! There are friendly people, beautiful water, breathtaking mountains, cool places to go, and really good food!
