- We visited the Gulf Coast right after Hurricane Rita, stayed at the Perrigrine Townhomes, and spent most of our time in Galveston or on the beach. We rode the ferry and visited Moody Gardens, Kemah Boardwalk, Old Historic Galveston, a Houston Texan game, and more.

- We stayed at the Peregrine Townhouse Condominiums right on the beach. There were no crowds on the beach and it was pretty quiet. We often sat on the balcony overlooking the beach at night, listening to the waves hitting the beach.

- Traveling Texas was a blast. We started on Galveston Island, then went to Freeport, where we spent six nights, and then drove to San Antonio. A very relaxing trip filled with ocean sights and sounds with a little bit of excitement at Sea World San Antonio.

- When it comes to Spring Break time, you can be right on the gulf and enjoy the many miles of primitive beach and coastal wetlands without the crowds, or still enjoy the area attractions of Galveston, 30 minutes away.

- Living within a student's budget made us choose this beautiful beach near home. We were welcome by the white sand and the breezy sea of the open Golfo. A spacious two storey building was our "home at the beach" for a week. And resting, sunning and swiming the everyday joy.
