- We reached the Adirondacks in 4 hours from NYC, but it felt like we had landed in another world. The Adirondacks are spectacular.

- Whiteface Mountain, located in Lake Placid, New York, within the huge Adirondack Park is the largest ski mountain "East of the Rockies." Home to the 1980 Winter Olymipic skiing events and many World Cup events, it's a true ski and snowboard experience for everyone in your family.

- The service was really bad, the owners very rude, and the bad food overpriced. The place was so bad that, after seeing other people walking out, waiting over an hour for dinner, we did, too. We will never go back.
