- As a further escape from the cold weather, we spent a week at Surfside Beach. We had a wonderful week, and the weather was sunny and mostly warm. We got out to see some historical attractions in the area and relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.

- Surfer's Paradise is just that. Globally recognized as one of the world's premier surfing locations, "paradise" has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With waves the size of buildings, this is a challenging, yet joyful, location for all surfers, experienced or beginners.

- My husband and I took 11 family members and friends to the Presidential Villas in Surfside Beach. We all enjoyed the resort and the nearby beach. We recommend this resort even though it is not right on the beach.

- We were looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy our time together after the holidays. This time of year in South Carolina is great.

- We stayed at the Presidential Villas at Plantation Resort. What a beautiful place. We spent our first Christmas away from our home there. We had a great time and we are looking forward in going back.
