- A quick getaway on spring break to the Horseshoe Valley Ski Resort. This was the first time in years for the two of us.

- First the room card didn't work. Then we found the grout in the shower was missing. There was no hand soap in the room. There was a long cigarette ash found on the floor beside the bed. The coffee maker kept coming open and water ran everywhere.

- Our family had a great time in Barrie, Ontario. Day trips, fishing, shopping, and going to the casino made for a great vacation.

- Carriage Hills is definitely a Gold Crown resort. The accommodations are wonderful. There are comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, great pool facilities and fitness room, planned daily activities, and accommodating staff. It is a beautiful scenic area!

- I stayed at the Carriage Hills Resort located near Barrie, Ontario. This is a beautiful place in the summer, with several attractions close by (Toronto Zoo, Canada's Wonderland). In the winter, this is an ideal ski resort and area with ski-in and ski-out privileges.

- We stayed at the Carriage Hills Resort near Barrie, Ontario. We had a two-bedroom unit there, traveling with our three children. We visited Niagara Falls, Wasaga Beach, and shopped in a mall in Barrie.

- Nice accommodations, but not too much to do in the area. Plus, it rained the whole time. Might be really good if the weather was nice and you wanted to do a lot of hiking.

- My family spent the week up in Ontario at Horseshoe Valley, north of Barrie, Ontario. This is a beautiful resort in the woods to get away from the city.
