- Canaan, WV, is absolutely wonderful. First-time family vacations are sometimes difficult, especially when the children are 8-years-old and under. The facilities, planned activities, and the friendly staff made vacationing a breeze.

- This was a most relaxing vacation. We went to the caverns, which were awesome and the Black Water Falls were really neat. But the most breathtaking scene of all was at the Dolly Sods! It was breathtaking! Climbing to the top, you can see for miles all of the Appalachian Mountains. Simply awesome!

- We stayed at the Land of Canaan Resort. We did not think that there would be much to do in the summer, but we were quite suprised. We hiked, rode horseback, and explored the caverns and caves.

- If you are searching for a place where you can slow down and take time to appreciate the natural beauty of God's creation, then this is the place for you! Accommodations are lovely, but the breathtaking views of mountains and valley are what make this a beautiful vacation memory.
