- People who live in Sonoma County are very lucky. Most famous for its wine industry and vineyards, Sonoma County is really much more.

- Sonoma County lies about an hour north of San Francisco. It's less crowded than its rival Napa County, but in my mind far more interesting and diverse. It's a great weekend getaway from the Bay Area.

- Sonoma County, where my heart will always be. Beautiful, clean air, amazing tastes, wandering country roads, beaches, sunsets, wine, music, and art.

- We stayed in a cottage in the vineyards of Sonoma. The weather, wine, food, and friends were great! We filled every day with fun and adventure.

- Three east coasters (my husband, our 12-year old son, and me) visited wineries in Sonoma. We got a little history, some wine. and great wine knowledge.
