Beautiful Costa Del Sol in winter.

Calahonda is just outside Marbella and is the perfect setting if you want a quiet location with easy access to the main attractions, towns, and villages. The apartment was of a very high standard. In our party, there were four adults and one toddler, and the room was perfect for us. The balcony was a bit small but adequate.

On this trip my husband and I took our son and my parents with us to visit the beautiful area of Mijas Costa on the Costa del Sol, and we stayed at Club Marbella.

Calahonda is a lovely town on Mijas Costa, about 15 minutes from Fuengirola to the north and Marbella to the south. This was our first Spanish holiday and our first time to a bonus week at RCI's Club Calahonda.

This is our awful resort. Noisy, tatty, and the top heated pool, which was very deep at almost eight feet. Children during the evening are a nightmare.

We all went to Club Marbella for a family holiday as soon as school finished taking Hannah (15), Alice (14), and Sophie (10). The kids had a really good time. We enjoyed ourselves too, but would have been pleased to have stayed in a quieter less crowded resort.
