- At the turn of the century well-heeled business owners, presidents, movie stars, and sports figures flocked to posh resorts in French Lick, famous for its curative mineral springs. Resorts may have faded and the springs dried up, but this sleepy region offers a wealth of history and activities amid scenic rolling hills.

- In April my wife and I spent a week at the French Lick Springs Villas timeshare resort in the small town of French Lick, Indiana. The town is located in the hills of south central Indiana.

- If you get the 2-bedroom unit you will be amazed at the size - the sauna and Jacuzzi tub were wonderful.

- Quick getaway for a couple of days. The unit was fabulous. Jacuzzi tub and sauna right in the unit. Lots of sleeping space, nice kitchen facilities with dishwasher, ice maker, and Jen air grill. Nice open kitchen, living room and dining area downstairs with fabulous fireplace.

- French Lick is a small community in the hills of southern Indiana. There is a large, old resort hotel near the timeshare villas, and timeshare guests are permitted to use most of the resort's amenities, even though they are run by different companies.

- This is a great place to relax. We had a one-bedroom unit, and it was very nice. Checking in and out was a breeze. There was not much to do in the area, but we went for the relaxation. You can use the facilities at the French Lick Springs Resort.

- This is a nice place--very spacious--where units have upstairs and down and a fireplace. This is a good place to get away from it all. Our family especially enjoyed the train ride. We'd see wild turkeys and deer out the window.
