El Gouna on The Red Sea

El Gouna is a developing resort town on the Red Sea in Egypt. Unlike its relatives Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurgada, Gouna is still relatively quiet and only known to Egyptians and German tourists. So if you want some peaceful time on the beach, Gouna is the spot.

Paradise is El Gouna

El Gouna is on the west coast of the Red Sea, about 20 km north of Hurghada. It was conceived by a wealthy Egyptian, Al Gouna, and is best described as a mini resort town, complete with several 5-star hotels, a "downtown", airport, and hospital.
