- We enjoy cruising - Crystal Harmony was one of our favorite cruises. We had the chance to experience the Serenity - a larger ship.

- If you want a vacation where you are in total control there is nothing that beats a cruise. Do everything, do nothing, it is totally up to you. Wake up when you want, sleep in or watch the sunrise. It doesn't get better than this.

- For a facility that houses more inhabitants than a small Midwest town, this ship is a destination in itself.

- Our Caribbean cruise was fantastic! This was a first cruise for my husband and I, another couple, and our single male friend. We’re an active, fun-loving group of professionals who wanted to cruise in order to meet people, see new destinations, and enjoy the luxury and conveniences of cruising.

- Several years ago, when I was a travel agent, we took a cruise on Carnival’s Fascination. It was a seminar at sea, so it was a working cruise. Boy, that was the best work environment I have ever been in!

- We've sailed about 15 times, starting with the Oceanic in the late '60s. We wanted to experience "Crystal", since it has consistently won Best Cruise Line awards from Conde Nast and Travel and Leisure.

- What a pleasure to sail on a new ship – everything is spotless, clean, not worn and in working order. Costa Mediterranea is a floating resort that caters to 2100 guests.

- Sixty like-minded friends take over the Carnival Fascination! Most of us were first-time cruisers, so that is the perspective we got. Overall, we had a great time and loved the cruise. The positives: cabin size, drinks, service. The negatives: early shut-down of facilities, so-so food.

- Royal Caribbean has a great ship in the Explorer of the Seas. I have been on two other cruises and none of them compared to the experience I had on Explorer. She is a beautiful and fun ship, and the ports were icing on the cake.

- THIS JOURNAL is about my Western Caribbean 7-day cruise aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's magnificent PEARL. From Miami it visited Roatan, Honduras; Belize City; Cozumel, Mexico; and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. Side trips included Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha in Belize, Gumbalimba Park in Roatan, and Mayan Ruins of Tulum.
