The journal I am going to submit is about my time spent in Corsica. I have given descriptions of places on the island.

We visited the island of Corsica in mid-October 2003. We flew to Ajaccio, rented a car and tour the western side of the island for a week. This was just a "sampler" visit; we must return to see more. Corsica is for those who like spectacular scenery, empty beaches, delicious cuisine, and friendly people.

The Citatel dominates proudly its famous gulf which constitutes at the same time a remarkable port, shelter for the yachts and a commercial port closest to the French continent like Italian continent. Calvi is particularly animated, shelters many festival like the festival of the wind or the festival of jazz.
