Once was not enough. We returned to Belgium to ramble through the lush wooded hills of the Ardennes in search of wonderful cuisine, countless local brews, and legendary abbeys and chateaus.

Discovering the treasures of Namur and neighboring Dinant were a delight for all our senses. The sights, sounds, fragrances and food were fabulous. Our introduction to the Ardennes with its intriguing country roads, castles and charming villages was unforgettable.

OK, so I did mean to stop here, but only to see the Trésor d'Hugo d'Oignies. Because of problems elsewhere I stayed the night.
