- Although driving from Atlanta, Georgia to Cody, Wyoming in 3 long days was tiring, we were rewarded handsomely with spectacular scenery as we crossed the northern plains, went through the South Dakota Badlands, over the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming, and finally into the lush mountains, fields, and rivers of Yellowstone.
