- I was born and raised in Alaska, so I've had the opportunity to visit many wonderful places in this great state. There is one very special place that I absolutely LOVE though, and that is Kachemak Bay Wilderness Lodge. Their website is www.alaskawildernesslodge.com if you want to check it out.

- This past summer, my family and I took our vacation at Sadie Cove Wilderness Lodge. What a great time we had! Sadie Cove is near Homer, Alaska in a beautiful, remote fjord. You have to take a boat to get there, since there aren't any roads.

- Homer, Alaska has a great deal to offer. Glacier cruises leave from the harbor daily. You can see glaciers, seals, and bears. A walk around the town is fun. Lobster and fishing boats, seals popping up and down. You can fish,hike or just relax.
