- The new adventure begins. We left PA in 30-degree weather and stepped out of the aircraft in Lihue to 75 degrees - absolutely perfect. We left brown, and found lush green. This... THIS is what we were waiting for!

- We spent a fantastic two weeks in Kauai, one week each on the north and south, which saves on driving time. The island's beauty exceeded my expectations! I have been to the four major Hawaiian islands, and Kauai is by far the most beautiful. I can't wait to return!

- Rediscoving Kauai the second time around was a bit of a challenge. Instead of the "rushing around while trying to get everyhing done" atmosphere, we wanted to actually experience what Kauai had to offer - a blissful paradise just waiting to capture your inner soul.
