- With the widest beaches on the North Coast, Oceanside, for so long only a " Marine On Leave town", has been revamping itself in a serious bid for tourism. An historic Mission, great beach with amphitheatre for concerts, new Art Museum, well-equipped fishing pier, and revitalized downtown -all bid for tourist attention.

- Terribly disappointed with our resort. No pool. Spa was broken. No air conditioning so room was hot. Paid for daily parking even though resort had ample parking room in basement.

- The area from southern Orange County to Northern San Diego county, along California's sunny coast holds several timeshares to call home while exploring the surrounding area. One of the best places to stay is the California Beach Club located ON the beach in Oceanside. Ten minutes farther south is the Carlsbad Inn across the street from the ocean. Within 30 minutes you have access to Wild Animal Park in Escondido, Mission San Luis Rey, Quail Botanical Gardens, Legoland, flower fields, and charming villages to stroll and shop in.
