Palm Springs is a great getaway. The downtown area is filled with a wide variety of restaurants and shops. You have all types of activities to choose from. You can golf, hike, shop, and gamble or just sit back and enjoy the magnificent view of the desert.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival is a wonderful opportunity to see films from all over the world. There are always surprise opportunities to meet the stars, directors and film makers, before or after the films for Q & A sessions. I highly recommend getting a festival pass.
