- I know I live in Warsaw but the last ten days I have had a visit from my mother-in-law so I have spent the time visiting the attractions I love the most in my city.

- Living in a capital city like Warsaw there are over 450 restaurants to choose from offering all sorts of different cuisines. Don't worry, I am not going to review every one - only a selection of my favourite restaurants. Bon Apetite!

- Since moving to Warsaw to live I have come across many varieties of shopping outlets in the city ranging from ultra modern shopping malls, bazaars, one man and his rug on the floor and the smallest street corner shop. Here are some of my experiences.

- Travelling from London to Russia, we took an 8-hour train ride from Prague to Warsaw, stopping in Poland’s capital for the Easter weekend.
Unfortunately most museums and shops closed for the entire weekend, but if you enjoy self-guided walking tours, Warsaw has many fascinating and hidden corners to explore.
