- Espalion is a small town hosting numerous attractions. The most impressive are the Chateau de Calmont D`Olt, and then the museum of Joseph Vaylet.

- We were driving in the direction of Murol, where we wanted to visit a castle. I told my travel companion to stop and park the car. I wanted to take a few pictures of the cemetary.

- Most anywhere you`ll be in Clermont-Ferrand you`ll see the Puy de Dome. Puy de Dome is a major extinct volcano mountain which stands at 1465 meters over the area.

- The best way to describe Orcival would be to say it's a small village of only a few houses situated around a Romanesque Church of Notre Dame set in the charming country side of Auvergne. Only an hour or two would be sufficient to visit this town.

- Cantal is the departement immediately South of Puy de Dome in the Auvergne region. It lacks the hills particular to Puy de Dome but is a mountainous area with spectacular views and lots of trees,a beautiful place to wander and relax.
