- ASAE went north of the border for their four day annual meeting, exposition and conference. While there was a fair amount of free time for the many activities planned for attendees, this city also provided opportunity for visitors to do some exploring on their own.

- Our aim was to cram as much as we could into this first visit to Canada without overstretching ourselves. In the end, we tried to do too much. The distances to travel on some days were tiring, and left little time to sight-see.

- Blending glistening skyrise towers with a warren of underground store-lined passages, the peaceful regenerated harbourfront area with the lively Blue Jays' SkyDome, museums, galleries and theatres with malls and flag-ship stores, Toronto is the focus of anglophone Canada for both business and leisure purposes.

- Toronto has much to offer visitors in every season, but summer is perhaps the best of all. The pace seems to slow, and people take time to sit at a sidewalk cafe and watch the world pass by.
