- We went to Brazil with listeners and personalities from Philadelphia, New York, and D.C. radio stations. In all, there were around 180 of us. The trip itinerary consisted of 3 days in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and 4 days in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.

- There is a shiver of electricity about this city, whether it's the snow-white beaches, the beat of samba, the jungle-covered mountains, or the mix of rich and poor. This is a city which enters your bloodstream and brings you back, eager for more.

- You will fall in love with Rio de Janeiro. The sapphire of the sky contrasts with the white of Copacabana beach, people dance to samba and the Sugarloaf overlooks everything.
This metropolis is alive and exciting, and must be the best city in South America...

- Somente mim: Just me in Rio. Although not the obvious way to visit this city, Rio rewards those who travel solo.

- Rio there is nothing like it!
It is legendary for it's beaches and nightlife and has so many instantly recognisable landmarks all situated around the famous Guanabara Bay it was a dream come true to visit this beautiful place.
It is difficult to describe the vibrant pulse or energy of the city without feeling it for yourself as it is the "Cariocas" zest for life that makes the city truly "marvellous".

- We found May, an off season time in Rio, to be a a great time to vacation and really relax in this city. May is their early fall. We discovered Rio is not the rowdy, jostling city like you see at Mardi Gras time. We felt quite safe walking the beaches.
We spent two weeks in Rio-one week in a retreat center high above the city and one in a hotel on Copacabana Beach.
It's a big city, but it has small town hospitality.
