- We spent two weeks exploring Canada’s Waterton Lakes and Glacier National Park in late August/early September, 2003. We used Whitefish as our base for the final week to explore and sightsee in Glacier National Park and the Flathead National Forest.

- We stayed at The Edelweiss on Big Mountain with the intent to ski the mountain while we were there. The resort was closed, but we still had a great time.

- Our 15-year wedding anniversary trip to Montana.

- We spent our tenth anniversary at Meadow Lake. The resort has beautifully appointed units, a great golf course, two pools, workout facility, and restaurant. The Flathead Valley offers many exciting activities. During our anniversary week, we golfed, hiked, and rafted in Glacier Park, picked huckleberries, and relaxed by the pool.

- A wonderful way to spend a week with family. The Edelwiess condo is slopeside, so ski in for lunch and enjoy the view from the deck of the Flathead Valley.

- Whitefish, Montana has a neat city park. They had these decorated bears in the park the day we visited.
