- I searched all across Pigeon Forge for a pigeon, thinking there should have been one since the town is named after them. I looked at the mini golf, go-kart trails, and even at Parrot Mountain. I saw only one! That pigeon was in Dollywood under the shade of the trees.

- We were looking for a Christmas getaway, and since this is a very popular travel time, we finally decided to keep it simple with a visit to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and do some hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains.

- A family trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennesse beneath Smoky Mountain National Park offers something for everyone. We deemed this area “Hillbilly Vegas” because, like Vegas, there is anything you can possibly think of to do. However, in this town, things have a hillbilly spin and include the whole family.

- We stayed in Pigeon Forge, TN at the Laural Crest Resort. It's close to the shopping are and there's a lot of restaurants and dinner shows. We took this trip to just get away from the the every day routine
