We stayed in Cork for two nights but disillusioned with the quiet, shabby city centre on a Saturday night, we actually ended up spending most of our time in Kinsale, Midleton and along the Cork coast. Fortunately a great restaurant find on Oliver Plunkett Street provided a little consolation.

Cork is a small town on the southern part of Ireland. The city doesn't look very big from the airplane; you have to really get into the city to find out that you have a lot to see.
