Brno, the second largest city of the Czech Republic and the cultural and administrative centre of Moravia lacks the narrow walkways of medieval towns but its compact historic core boasts fine churches, neoclassical buildings, art galleries, a restored Baroque castle-fortress and splendid parks which make walking around a pleasure.

Part of my Czech Republic Trip in 2006. A city that I didn't like the look of at first, missed it out and then returned. So glad I did - it's a great place.
