Smugglers' Notch, VT, is great. Although well-known for its skiing, Vermont is also great for fall foliage, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, bike riding, shopping, and antiquing.

The one-bedroom unit with loft was great, with a king-sized bed in the loft with bath, and downstairs, there were two twin beds and a sleeper-sofa. It was very nice and roomy. Restaurants and shops were excellent, and the staff was pleasant. The views during foliage season were spectacular.

Best of IgoUgo
Smuggler's Notch was the perfect family vacation, complete with a ski/snowboard camp and top-notch daycare for the kids. When we went, facilities were in full swing for the winter season. The condo was comfortable and the resort shuttle was always available. There are several family-friendly restaurants nearby.
