- The Sinai is a fabulous place for its natural beauty and historical significance. About a six hour drive from Cario, it is possible to make a good 3 or 4 day weekend trip that will allow you to see what the Sinai has to offer.

- This journal focuses on the desert section in the southern portion of Sinai during our month long honeymoon to Egypt and Jordan. Intriguing! Definitely off the beaten track...we rode camels, camped with bedouins, climbed Moses' Mountain, and explored surrounding desert landscapes. We never saw another tourist the entire time.

- This journal focuses on the coastal Sinai section of our month long honeymoon in Egypt and Jordan. Eager to snorkel the famous reefs in the Red Sea, known for their brilliant displays of underwater scenery, we chose to stay in two coastal areas, Na'ama Bay and Nuweiba.

- Sharm el Sheikh has a fantastic underwater life, corals, and colourfull fish. You can travel all year-round, as water temperature never go below 21°C and visibility is never less than 15 to 20m. It is a great place for diving and taking a rest, but please respect the nature, as it's so beautiful.

- This was an adventure into the Sinai as well as the monastery. I knew little of this place and was surprised at what I found.

- This was a horrible hotel: bad service, old, dirty, and cockroaches in the sink.
