- My wife needed a break from the heat and the mundane, and I needed a break from work, so off to Door County, WI, we went with our 13-month-old twin boys in tow. Door County is a great place to relax!

- We were very pleased with the slow pace at this time of the year. Most of the usual activities were starting back up on the Saturday we were leaving, but because of this there were no crowds and we were able to get great seats and quick service.

- What a great way to spend a week, cross-country skiing in Door County, WI. There are three state parks close by for miles of trails. Our resort, "The Rushes," had groomed trails also. The Rushes is a wonderful place to stay.

- This was a very nice and well-kept resort. It is made for relaxing very secluded. We went ice skating in their pond. Could get to all other parts of Door County in 15 minutes. We would definitely go there again.

The rooms are large and clean. The people were helpful and nice. At check in you get a book with the resort activities, movies to rent, rules, other things to do at the resort.
1 indoor pool, wirlpool, and exercise room.
They also have trails to walk in the woods.
The resort is on Kangaroo Lake so you can go swimming, boating, fishing, and sailing.
