Summer awakens usually sleepy little Del Mar,which comes all too much alive as the annual San Diego County Fair and Del Mar Thoroughbred Club meet, draws throngs of locals and tourists who can also enjoy a variety of dining and sporting activities in this summer-dynamic,"petite"(5,000 or so)town that, with each passing summer, becomes more and more inundated.

Southern California is one of our favorite places to visit. We’ve stayed in Solana Beach, Carlsbad, and Del Mar, but we spend most of our time in the town of Del Mar because we love the romance of the place.

This name is very appropriate to this RCI Resort located across Via de la Valle from the Del Mar Racetrack.
We swam at several beaches and ate all over the area and never ran out of activities!
