- Scranton is a city trying hard to find a new identity. Its past was built on iron ore, coal, and railroads and its future may just follow that same path, but as a tourist destination.

- Take a dip in the most popular spot in Scranton, PA. There are two gigantic pools ($1 to get in). One has three diving boards, the other a walk-in pool with two outrageous water slides. The park also has three huge play parks; a zoo (free), including two tigers; and more.

- The Mall at Steamtown is a great place to go, especially having the museum. They also have 2-hour train rides for the whole family.
