- MacKerricher State Park is a beloved campground of Mendocino County locals. If you've never seen the gorgeous Northern California coast, this would be the place to see it.

- Plenty to do. Fishing, Glass Beach, shopping, and sightseeing. We go every year for this week. You must take the Skunk Train Try out some of the great restaurants in the area and also the coffee house in town for the local feel of the area. Great place to visit.

- When most people think of California they tend to think of the beaches of Southern California. That's ok with me since I love the Northern California coast that never have crowds.
