- The Rheingau, half an hour down the highway, is a popular area for day trips
from Frankfurt. The region offers scenic routes, wine, history, good food, and
atmosphere, and of course the River Rhine itself.

- I spent 3 days in Frankfurt when on my way to a 3-week linguistics summer school in Duesseldorf. Although I had a limited budget, I managed to squeeze in quite a bit of general sightseeing.

- Frankfurt is quite the international city. In a few short days, I sampled a variety of the many different types of cuisines the city offers, even though I was on a bit of a budget, and I enjoyed every bite.

- The Frankfurt airport has a lot of things that can keep a visitor occupied. It has large , well stocked stores, cars on display, airport viewing gallery, and beautiful artefacts all around. The directions are clearly marked so you cannot easily lose your way.

- Combination business and pleasure trip. On business, stayed right in the city. On pleasure, toured the waterfront, the waterways, the Baltic region, the countryside, and the city proper.
