- Bansko is a small village on the foothils of the Pirin mountain. It is one of the smaller ski resorts of Bulgaria but in my opinion a very nice one. The town is beautifull with traditional housing. During Summertime a good place to start hiking the Pirin Mountain and in Wintertime for skiing.
