We had 3 days exploring the world's largest sand island. It was a beautiful place with gorgeous lakes, rain forest, unpaved roads, and sand dunes.

There are two ways to Get to Frazer Island. The most Common is via Hervey Bay, but you might want to try going via Rainbow Beach.

During my year travelling around Australia there were many highlights but Frazer Island definately wins first prize. A fantastic setting for a back to nature trip. We were so lucky to be grouped with such terrific people who were also staying at our hostel in Harvey Bay!
