- Rurrenabaque is a good place for jungle/pampas trekking if you don't want to pay a lot. Despite of all the mosquitos and other animals (like dangerous ants), is it worth a visit.

- For us to get to Ruure was a bit of a trek. We caught a bus (eventually!) and spent nearly 32 hours on twisting roads, taking us to Rurre. A small frontier town, perched between the River Beni and the mass of the surrounding jungle, its pretty unique!!
