- We stayed at a nice manor in the middle of Brittany. This house is made for 12 people and is in front of Saint Malo and near the Mont Saint Michel. You can rent this house for your holiday there. The house is nicely decorated, and the garden is quite big for children. It is ideal. See the website at http://www.manor-in-brittany.com/.

- Driving through Brittany at your own pace, using the back roads and smaller roadways, is a great way to travel.

- Brittany, a land full of history and Celtic legends. Take a French map, and you'll be surprised when you realize that the Broceliande Forest is not written down.
Strange? No, it's just the begining. . .

- We spent a week in a small gite just south of Baden in the gulf of Morbihan. We were travelling with our two small children and so had to have some structure to our day and we found plenty to keep us and them occupied.

- Pam, my wife, had been very ill and we decided a short break would be good. The idea was to cross from Plymouth to Roscoff, not to travel too far and to relax.
