- Panajachel is on the shores of Lake Atitlàn. It is not nearly as traditional as other towns on the lake but offers modern conveniences. I liked the town. It was comfortable, the views were spectacular, and the people were friendly.

- On our road trip through Guatemala, we stopped for a few days in Panajachel on Lake Atitlan. The scenery was incredible; the food was not. Fortunately, we did find a couple of good restaurants. Unfortunately, it took quite a few tries.

- Panajachel is a great base from which to see Lake Atitlan and the rest of the Guatemalan Highlands. It has a very unique culture and there's a lot to do there.

- Panajachel is the main tourist town on Lago de Atitlan. Lago de Atitlan and its surrounding volcanoes, Volcano San Pedro 3020mts, Volcano Toliman 3134mts and Volcano Atitlan 3134mts, create an amazing site. The lake is regarded as one the most beautiful in the world.
