- Fredericton lies quietly on the banks of the beautiful St. John River, a university town and provincial capital. Its stately homes and public buildings call out to the traveller to pause and spend some time on its riverwalks and in its pleasant downtown.

- People coming here tend to visit Moncton and the beaches at nearby Shediac. There is so much more to do, either day-tripping from Moncton or exploring the area's varied accommodations in smaller communities.

- On our return home from Cape Breton, we decided to extend our vacation by spending a few days in the city of St. John.

- Shediac is a small town famous in the Maritimes for its language and escpecially, for its delicious lobster. The people are friendly and the beach in the summer is warm.
