We stayed at a great B&B, The Pond House. If you are an artist or just want a quiet place within walking distance to Boothbay Harbor ,we recommend the Pond House and its gracious host, Mary.

Boothbay Harbor is about one hour north of Portland, Maine along Maine's ruggedly beautiful coast. Boothbay Harbor itself is a quaint waterfront town, split in half by its harbor. Shops and restaurants along the water only add to the town's ambience.
