After four days and three nights in Vienna with Round-the-Clock Sightseeing and Adventures, my husband and I were looking forward to a quieter, gentlier town. As we drove through the stunning scenery of the Wachau wine region, we realized that Melk was perfect!

See the view from the Danube bridge, village, Imperial Apartments, and the stunning Abby Church (best at 1pm on a sunny day). The Abby is the one place in Europe not to miss.
