While Dad and Uncle Dave visited Florida in October 2011, we were able to visit some old favorites (Palafox Pier and Downtown Pensacola) and some new places (Fort Pickens). Also Mom and I visited a ship docked at Palafox Pier and more fun is to follow!

Mom was away for twelve days visiting her sister. So the Wildcat was a bachelorette for those days, and I got to try out some new restaurants along with an old restaurant and spend some time with a new and dear friend.

Springtime brings a lot to Pensacola and myself. In April, it was my 42nd birthday which meant lunch with two new birthday buddies. In June, Mom and I went downtown to check out the Juan Sebastian da Elcano, a Spanish Tall Ship in port.

Winters in Pensacola are mild and one can wear shorts almost year-round. While residents of the Northern USA are shoveling snow from their cars, we can enjoy Mardi Gras and other fun activities.

Dad's in town for Christmas, and Mom and I have been busy showing him the town whenever we can get him to loosen the grip on the remote control. It's also the time of the year for Christmas parties, pigging out, and spending time with family and friends!
