- Springtime brings a lot to Pensacola and myself. In April, it was my 42nd birthday which meant lunch with two new birthday buddies. In June, Mom and I went downtown to check out the Juan Sebastian da Elcano, a Spanish Tall Ship in port.

- Winters in Pensacola are mild and one can wear shorts almost year-round. While residents of the Northern USA are shoveling snow from their cars, we can enjoy Mardi Gras and other fun activities.

- Dad's in town for Christmas, and Mom and I have been busy showing him the town whenever we can get him to loosen the grip on the remote control. It's also the time of the year for Christmas parties, pigging out, and spending time with family and friends!

- November in Pensacola means volunteering on Election Day for the Barack Obama Campaign, being able to sightsee in 70-degree weather, and enjoying quality time with the family.
