- Home of Arizona State University and Sky Harbor Airport, Tempe is located in the southern part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. One of the main hang-out and night-life spots is Mill Ave., but there are a number of other activities in the surrounding area.

- Stayed at the Buttes (Wyndham Resort) and loved this 4-stars resort with cool architecture and gracious lap pool. We reserved the room with a mountain view and it was Worth it!!! Also, it was only 10 minutes from Phoenix airport.

- Taking advantage of a last minute web fare, my boyfriend and I fled a rainy weekend on the East Coast for a sun-drenched weekend in the beautiful area around Tempe, AZ. Better yet, we did it on a budget and had a wonderful time.
