What a wonderful time of year. Not crowded, so everything was not open yet for the season. The Samoset Resort was wonderful. We visited the towns of Camden, Boothbay Harbor, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park. Our favorite restaurant was the Lobster Pound in Lincolnville. Golf at Samoset had spectacular views.

For our honeymoon we visited the Samoset Resort. We arrived at night, and it looked pleasant. In the morning we opened the drapes and saw the view of a life time, with the sun rising on a fire red horizon, past the golf course, across the Penobscott Bay.

WOW is all I can say. The Samoset Resort is everything and more! I can certainly see why it is a five-star resort and a RCI Gold Crown.
My husband and I went with our best friends for a weekend. Great food, great entertainment, and best of all fantastic staff!

If you are looking for a place to just relax, maybe catch up on some reading and do some swimming, then this is the place. If you are looking for award winning accomodations and comfortable units, you may want to look elsewhere.

Maine has it all. You are surrounded by beauty. The coast is breath taking, calming, and exciting all in one. The timeshare is Samoset. Located in Rockport. There is a lighthouse you can walk to plus others within a short driving distance. The best lobsters and clams in the world.

An overview of Samoset Resort and the surrounding area on coast of Maine

Samoset Resort was the timeshare and the surrounding area is certainly beautiful. The area has many things to do, which is fortunate as the resort has very little if you can't afford the overly expensive green fees.

This area is on the rocky coast of Maine. It is a fairly quiet location, and one that you can feel safe in.

A three-day sailing trip on a two-masted schooner in the myriad islands off the Maine coast, with stops to shop and a fantastic lobster boil on the shore of an island.
