- Hua Hin is a popular resort with aflluent Bangkok Thais and the Thai King himself. The presence of Thai Royal Navy war boats in the sea is a telltale sign of his presence at Hua Hin.

- Our original reason for traveling to Hua Hin was to visit some friends who own a bar called U-Turn. We were VERY pleasantly surprised to find a town that offered something completely different from the polluted Bangkok and seedy Pattaya that we had left behind.
