An interesting day out photographing wildlife in a private nature reserve on the banks of Loch Awe. I do not even own a camera but they provide one, meaning I got some cracking shots to take home with me.

We spent Christmas at Portsonachan, Scotland, which is on Loch Awe and was lovely. It's a few miles from Oban, where the famous whiskey comes from.

Oban, the "Gateway to the Isles", is a beautiful, if tourist oriented town.
