  • The swallows were not in residence when I visited, but I spotted a few nests tucked into the Mission's weathered masonry, strolled past koi ponds and flower gardens in the cloistered grounds, wandered through the Los Rios Historic District, discovered some fun boutiques and stopped for an afternoon tea.
